Workbar has installed soundproofing designed to ensure the studio is soundproof to eliminate background noise and external disturbances.
Equipment Check/Information
Workbar utilizes Rode Audio Mixer, Microphones and Headsets. Test all equipment before recording. This includes microphones, headphones, mixers, and recording software.
Recording will be integrated within the user’s Podcast software application. Best practice is to maintain a consistent distance from the microphone and avoid touching or moving it during recording. Speak clearly and at a steady pace. Ensure all participants know when to speak and when to listen to avoid talking over each other.
Workbar audio allows user monitoring: Use headphones to monitor audio quality in real-time, allowing for immediate adjustments if necessary.

The RodeCaster Pro 2 offers a seamless integration experience for podcasters looking to enhance their audio quality and workflow. Connecting the RodeCaster Pro 2 to your PC is straightforward and requires only a USB-C cable. Once connected, your PC will recognize the RodeCaster Pro 2 as an audio interface, allowing you to use it with any podcasting application of your choice.
- To get started, connect one end of the USB-C cable to the RodeCaster Pro 2 and the other end to an available USB-C port on your PC. Ensure your RodeCaster Pro 2 is powered on. Your PC should automatically detect the device and install any necessary drivers.
- Open your preferred podcasting app, such as Audacity, GarageBand, Riverside or Adobe Audition. In the app’s audio settings, select the RodeCaster Pro 2 as your input and output device. This setup allows you to record directly from your RodeCaster Pro 2, utilizing its high-quality preamps, sound pads, and built-in effects.
