Our main location is directly across from South Station, although we have over 15 other locations around Greater Boston.
 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to COO, we are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial and data-driven marketer to own the marketing funnel for our fast-growing coworking company.  The Senior Marketing Manager will plan, develop and implement our marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities. Reflective, analytical, strong, strategic, you‘ll be charged with monitoring, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall company's goals.   

We are open to candidates who have not yet run an entire marketing department but who are ready to step up to the role.

Key responsibilities include.

  • Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall growth.  
  • Managing a marketing and events team of  five individuals  as well as outside resources.
  • Plan and execute  campaigns for corporate promotion  and  public  relations.
  • Direct efforts to create  marketing materials for use internally and externally.
  • Define and meet quantitative metrics related to growth. 
  • Represent Workbar as a spokesperson, e.g. at events, in videos, etc.
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar to attract a target audience.
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content. 
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing  processes through email, content, and social  channels.
  • Content creation - write blog posts, articles, newsletters and communications materials for social media channels and blog.
  • Manage technical aspects of ky marketing systems (marketing automation & CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Create and maintain metric-based reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Monitor and maintain daily quality within the marketing database.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a team-player who has the following characteristics, experiences, and strengths:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus.
  • 5 + years of user acquisition experience (digital advertising, content marketing, performance marketing, growth hacking, analytics, etc.).
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems (e.g. HubSpot) and integrating those systems with other technologies.
  • A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities.  We are open to candidates who have not yet run an entire marketing department but who are ready to step up to role.
  • You develop an understanding of our target markets and are passionate about coming up with creative strategies to reach them.
  • You’re driven by results and are obsessed with data, always seeking to optimize and improve, professionally and personally.
  • An excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoy working as a team, yet have the self-drive to run without oversight.

  • Be positive under pressure and comfortable in a startup environment.
  • Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a  full-time Events Manager to join our rapidly growing team. As an Events Manager, you will report to the Head of Events. Your main task is to source, program, market, and execute events across our growing network of coworking spaces.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Source and Manage Events: Reach   out to event hosts and sponsors.  Assist booked clients with their event planning, on-site help with set up, execution of the event, and break down afterward.  Work with our Space and Community Managers across our network to source, market, plan, and execute both “member-only” internal events as well as external events open to the general public.
     
  • Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain client relationships throughout the events process by solidifying logistics, program content, and promotional needs.  Field general venue questions and concerns of each client.

  • Assist with Marketing:  Participate in marketing and social media management. Tasks range from  creating Eventbrite pages, doing field marketing, promoting events via socail media and email, and sending follow-up emails via Hubspot marketing software.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Creative Lead who will report to the Head of Marketing. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams with the joint goal of driving brand awareness, new memberships, member satisfaction, and revenue growth.

You will be responsible for developing, launching, and managing creative campaigns across all customer touchpoints and marketing channels. You’ll work closely with the rest of the marketing team on traditional marketing assets as well as digital efforts. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Digital Marketing: Website design, display ads, site content, emails, mobile marketing and our internal member site, Wobbe.
  • Traditional Print Media: Print ad, outdoor, ambient, field marketing, sales collateral, and direct mail.
  • Visual/In-Space Signage: Internal sales and promotional materials for Workbar spaces.
  • Video, Audio and Direct Mail:
  • B-2-B Channels: For the enterprise audience, support our sales efforts by creating sell sheets, presentations, video tours, white papers, case studies, and ads to reach key corporate decision makers.
  • Guerilla Marketing: New and unexpected channels to drive awareness and interest.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience in understanding different target audiences, how to target a message for a specific segment, and how to attain business metrics using superlative creative work to drive a response. Leveraging the existing Workbar brand assets and brand playbook, you will create effective and compelling work. You will have a wide range of skills, from graphic design to copywriting; from off line creative to new digital techniques. You will have the ability to craft and execute against a creative brief. You’ll have a strong sense for type, composition, color, and tone of voice. Specific candidate requirements include:

  • Experience:       Must have at least two years of related work experience at external agencies, as an in house creative resource client side, or as a freelancer. People with more experience could apply and the scope and compensation for the position would be expanded.
  • Cross Functions: Able to work cross functionally, with sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Tools: Strong proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe CS.
  • Skills: Strong graphic design and technical skills. Strong copywriting a real plus.
  • UX / UI: This would be a strong plus and could expand the scope of the position.
  • Execute: Able to manage the tactical execution of creative ideas, e.g. overseeing the print/production process or the U/X implementation of digital assets.
  • Productive: Ability to get things done under tight timelines.
  • Flexible: A comfort in working strategically one day, and tactically the next.
  • Well Rounded: It is imperative that your portfolio highlights both your digital experience, traditional channels, and audio/video media.
